  • A healthcare worker wearing light blue scrubs, a patterned hat, and a surgical mask.

Overseas-trained health workers with experience of living in Australia (or thinking about it)

If you completed some or all of your healthcare training overseas and live in Australia, have previously lived in Australia or have plans to move to Australia, we would like to speak to you.

We are interested in what your experiences have been, how you have made decisions about work and travel, and how care and relationships affect your experiences and aspirations in relation to your career and migration.

  • Healthcare students

We will be talking to healthcare students (domestic and international) about their experiences and aspirations around migration, work and care.

Because we are interested in how care and relationships affect people’s experiences and aspirations, we would also like to talk to the families, friends and colleagues of healthcare students.

Check back soon for more details about how you can take part.

  • Professional perspectives on health worker migration

We would like to interview people working in a paid or voluntary role in the area of health, migration, and/or workplace issues to hear professional perspectives on healthcare worker migration. We may also discuss findings from our interviews with healthcare workers and their families, friends and colleagues, and talk about how best to attract, retain and support health workers, their families and the broader community.
