PhD Scholarship available

We currently have an opportunity for a PhD student to join the team, supported by a scholarship and stipend. More information about the opportunity and how to apply.

The PhD project will explore the migration experiences and future aspirations of international and domestic healthcare students in Australia, with a focus on how healthcare students' family relationships and other care connections and responsibilities shape their perspectives on migration, mobility, and work, now and into the future.

This will complement the broader research project, which aims to investigate the experiences of Australia's migrant and mobile health workforce. Migrants and students are commonly mentioned as solutions to the current healthcare workforce crisis, and this project will bring together new knowledge about the experiences of both, to produce a forward-looking analysis of mobility in Australia's health workforce.
